State Hybrid HOV:
Allows hybrid vehicles with a rating of at least 45 MPG and have SULEV emissions ratings to use the HOV lanes regardless of number of passengers. Vehicles must have a special hybrid decal to qualify for the incentive.
San Jose Free Hybrid Parking:
Clean vehicles purchased in San Jose will be entitled to free parking at street meters and public parking facilities throughout the city. *Vehicles still remain subject to time restrictions*
Los Angeles Free Hybrid Parking:
Gas-Electric Hybrids, as well as ‘Zero Emission Vehicles’ and ‘Super Low Emission Vehicles’ displaying the ‘California Clean Air Vehicle Decal’ will be entitled to free parking at meters throughout the city. *Vehicles still remain subject to time restrictions*
Clean Car Discount *bill*:
AB493 would give one time rebates/surcharges when purchasing new cars, depending on their emissions of global warming pollution. Rebates given to new low emission vehicle purchasers will be funded by one-time surcharges paid by purchasers of new high emission vehicles.
